What's a rotation?

Each year of our course is split up into six blocks of six week duration each (36 weeks).

The clinical schools split their students up into six groups - one group for each block.

The blocks are then run simultaneously, with one student group per block. At the end of the block, the student groups are assigned to a new block, until all six are covered for that year. The students, therefore, "rotate" between the blocks.
